This is what I love about the internet. I would never have heard of SB if it wasn't for it, and now I've been a fan for many years. I sort of miss Neal on vocals, but I think Nick has come a long way since Feel Euphoria. As long as they stick to the new stuff all is well, but Nick just can't pull off the older songs like "The Light" or this one.
Never got a chance to see SB but made a trip to California to see Transatlantic last year-a spiritual experience (as all great live music is). Not many prog bands pay a visit to this part of the US (Texas) so I have had to go out of state. Thanks for posting this-one of my favorites.
I miss Neal too, but I think Spock's is doing one hell of a great job on their on... In fact I might dare to say that nowadays I think I like the new Beard better than the old one.
the recording quality is really poor but SB is one of the best prog bands that ever existed.... I like the offspring but don't believe at all there's a factor of comparison; it's like comparing dream theater and justin timberlake... all matter of taste at the end...I also don't think there's something bad with music going in circles and "repeating" what was done since the 70's, in that train of thought offsping did stuff other guys did 10 to 15 years before, so as EVERY BAND you could imagine
Talented guys,no doubt, but doesen't this stuff bore you people to death? It's SO been done by other prog bands, all thru the 70's! I know I will have a new one ripped for this, but I get more excitement and energy listening to Offspring, than this stuff.(And they're NOWHERE near my fave band). It's all over, no consistancy, no LASTING groove or excitement. Full of nice little moments here and there, like one of those videos that flash little pixs of megan Fox for 1/4 second @ a time! Tease music!
I think Nick does a great job. In fact he does a better job live. Besides Neal is doing very well with his solo career and its nice for fans to have both.

Dang, were the drums recorded with Windows Sound Recorder?? The sound quality is terrible (a far cry from the music quality, of course)!!

Nick is a better singer, especially live, but Neal is naturally a better songwriter.
