My opinion only- (I will not be looking back to read your comments)

Dominique opened up too early on both vaults, also done by Kerry on vault 1. In my opinion, Bela should have coached her for her second vault to prevent the same mistake being made twice. He wanted those stuck landings!

Dominique had a flawless competition, contributing to the USA's lead so much. It broke my heart to see this happen for/to her.

She will always be #1 in 1996 to me- for her performance, style, and spirit. 10.0!

WAIT? Why is the mat she lands on different than strugg who went RIGHT after her? I JUST noticed that!

strug landed on a "sting" mat, which is more padded. gymnasts can choose if they want to land on the "hard" mat, like dominique, or the sting mat over the hard mat

you can chose which mat you want to land on. one's hard and one's soft. she chose the white one for her AA vaults and she landed both those on her feet. the second AA vault she stuck
