Im trying to connect my keyboard up but when recording all i get is distortion. thats all that records, nothing but distortion. help please someone!!!!!!!
@1234aziq It could be done using the DeNoiser. It could work on voice recordings, but sometimes the recording would end up sounding messed up. So, I'm saying that it MIGHT work.
ok so heres what i wanna do, i wanna mix a tupac verse on a 50cent instrumental how do i do that? like how do i take tupac vocals to put them on the 50cent's instrumental? can i do that? if yes plz tell me, thanx
@Lilraphus It's not possible to remove sounds of instruments or whatever you would want to get rid of. That would be like, for instance, trying to separate the coffee grinds from the coffee that was already mixed. Or like trying to remove certain colors of a painting that was already done.
@Lilraphus i have the old one from 2002 and i do all them mixs your thinking of, if you take a look at my page all my tracks are made from this progam
ive followed the turorial thanks alot for this, but i have a question the recorded tracks i have taken from vinyl sounds like there is to much bass is there anyway of reducing this?
@ceet12 Have you tried using the equalizer? That's one way reduce the bass. You could even save you equalizer settings, especially when you use it often. I hope that helps.
I don't think subharmonics are dangerous, unless you can't hear them - but you'd have to have really BAD acoustics and then have the bass cranked way up, way past where it sounds like crap ;)
I'm with you though, I hate it when people tamper with tracks that have already been recorded, by adding more dynamic range compression. The reason CDs sound like complete crap now (around mid 90s to current), is that ridiculous amounts of DRC is used during remastering, it order to make it sound louder.
Okay, but removing the subharmonics can allow me to normalize at a higher volume level.
In the late 1970s Sony pleaded the CD to have a greater kilohertz samples. Anyway, wait a couple of more years for SACD and Blu-ray to become a standard at consumer level.

@Lilraphus It could be done by using a 2-track feature: One track for instrumental and the other for vocal. Try that and see how it works.

@ThisGuyFrritz thanx, but how do i remove instrumental to get only the vocals?

Is it possible to sample a noise file and use that to remove the noise from the entire audio file?
reevrob 1 year ago
@reevrob That's something I've never tried, which is why I don't know if it's possible. Maybe some other user of the Audio Cleaning Lab might know.

@ThisGuyFrritz there's a trial version. will be checking it out later. thanks!

I do not do this, with the exception of removing subharmonics (dangerous to your subwoofer or speakers) or mains hum (if there is any).

But, I feel that compact discs started the decline of the music industry.
