Also God keeps days different than we do. In creation "And there was evening, and there was morning" is how God keeps days
@WalkingThroughOut jehovahs witnesses dont celebrate any holidays including birthdays they also get babtizied but i'm not sure about the trinity and sabbath.
The question that Christians can ask a Jehovah witness is: Have you been born again? Have you been born of the water and of the spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues? Then tell them to explain John chapter 3, when Jesus tell Nicodemus he must be born of the water and of the spirit are no man shall see the kingdom of heaven.
Acts chapter 19: Paul ask the two men have they received the Holy Ghose since they believed, and when he layed hands them tongues and holy spirit came on
How about a church that doesn't adhere to a wacky book of fairy tales called the bible? A church that REALLY helps people instead of collecting money to build a larger congregation to collect more money? Oh wait, that wouldn't be a church, sorry.
My idea of Church, is to tell other about what God has done in my life, My story. not to rake in money, to increase pew sizes, to have lots of members. Church is a people. People who believe in God, and what he has done, as still doing today.
While that is great to have morals/ethics and to engage in beneficial acts, (I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons), there is no evidence that god exists. It is delusional, unintelligent, and potentially dangerous to believe something that is not based on fact. God cannot be proven in any way, visually, mathematically or otherwise. The idea of God is something humans created, which has no basis in reality, and which has been used for millennia to control and manipulate the weak minded.
@nkx1 your idea that there is NO evidence that god exists is quite a absoulte statement ....very much the complete end of the spectrim of a believer in God (which I am ) !st of absence of proof is not proof f absence, mathematically ? how about physics? or chemistry ? can you tell me that such ordered truths that display precise laws does not even hit at the possibility of a divine creator or law giver.
