old animes like akira, ninja scroll, vampire hunter d, and fist of the nothr start are still cool but they don't seem very special now. but back in the day they were so fucking amazing!!! now everything that was cool about them has been copied a million times so new viewers can never understand how original they were at the time.

Well think of it along the lines of X-Men. There are 5 charachters in the movie all with powers much like Mastermind (In the movie X-2 he was Jason Stryker)who could create illusions and Jean Grey who could use her mind to move objects while also absolutely obliterating things as Pheonix. The Illusions of the big bears aren't real. The 3old looking kids really are that old. The scientists did something to them that made them stop growing. Only "Tetsuo" is the right age and #5 is Akira (dead)
Excellent sync and scene selection. There was a little "dead air" at the very start where you used some very canned bits, but the rest of the video makes up for it. Nice work.
They re-released the movie in 2004 with a new dub (though I prefer subtitles) and lots of extras. They also remastered the video and touched up the color. Totally worth the $18 at your local shop.
