@midnitecandi Stop was for the video purposes. It was a time when lots of people don't know what to do so that yelling stop (as the job of the timer) helped everyone else stop attacking before damage reflection appears.

The statue might have said hit, I'm not sure. Hit it anyway if you need to.

1) You can't do easy mode so you'll be forced to do normal mode

2) Levels don't really matter here since you will all get nerfed stats to 70. Basically a level 70 could do more damage than you in this pq. An average time for normal is around ~20 minutes "assuming" no one dies since you can't hurt the boss for the first 10 minutes anyway.

@darkheronate There's two cases for the missing. Case 1) You're attacking the head when it's darked out and the horns are glowing purple (in which it is an auto miss till the lit shrine is hit 3 times) or in Case 2) Your accuracy is low and that you are trying to hit the hands. I haven't really experienced case 2 except with my battle mage who was attacking the hands (so it might be that).

Elixers? If you're talking about the pink elixirs, those are drops and stuff.

@AQsquirt333 There's no such thing as a good level (unless you're high/max for easy BPQ). It's just how your equipment is but I don't like excluding those who are weak (just stupid).

Who decides the loot? Honestly, I found people to be mainly total douchebags and what not. People will claim their items and what not beforehand. Would be better to get a trusted group but yeah. Meaning, no I do not have an answer for this.

@diviniquity There is no need for people stationed at the right side. At most, if the top left or middle shrine doesn't light up, just have someone go rush over there and attack it. You can tell which shrine it is easily by waiting a second or so after the tomb message appears.

@TheBizniatch He isn't that hard. The problem is time limit (when you're too weak) and the damage reflection. After those two parts, it's easy as heck except for the occasional lag spike or whatever.

@hakeca25 I haven't answered it yet but I'm not going to insult for saying so. Only one statue of the three will be glowing with its charm or whatever and that MUST be the statue being hit 3 times (since it's the only one that can be hit anyway). If not, the boss gets to heal and your party gets to waste more time trying to kill and more money using up pointless pots.

Reflector - Reflect damage. For easy ~ 800 damage and for normal ~ 4000 damage.

@kaivilyn Heck, you don't even have to equip it. As long as it's in your inventory, it will work. The hero's gladius is a level 45 one-handed sword for warriors that is a quest reward from some quest with manji. Skull earrings are pointless now since there's like so many earrings (maybe if you played during beta and what not, that would've been a harder choice) but honestly I would still prefer the gladius.

The only reason you would actually do it is because it's easier to hit for the melee (less going back up the rope if you get knocked down and judging if you're close enough to hit but far enough to not fall) and that they have less defense/magic defense.

Easy mode 260k exp (can get balrog shoes,balrog scrolls, balrog weapons [inferior to their counterpart but a lot easier to get], and chaos scrolls)

@Meupa got a question. me and 2 other lvl 65-70 arans went at this pq. we each were dexless and could still hit it 100%. we didn't die, and we had decent damage, but for some reason, we didn't come close to killing it. after all 3 hits for our comboes, added up they were about 5.5k or so. and yet somehow, we still ran out of time. i've heard theres a glitch that the aran skills do not hit balrog some of the time. how does that glitch work.

@Jeffie1997 Damage reflect occurs around 40% hp in easy mode. What he does as stated in the video is that he shows this animation (which means he immediately has it on) and then it shows the buff after (which if you are keeping time checks on him, it shouldn't surprise you) It reflects around 800-900 damage per hit (meaning warriors shouldn't really die unless they are spamming skills) and lasts anywhere from 5-10 seconds with a 1 minute cooldown between each cast.

I'm a cleric, and I know exactly when to stop healing; yet when I stop everyone starts yelling at me for stopping. o_o

So, do you think it's acceptable that I just stop healing completely when the first zombify is cast until the end? I think that's perfectly reasonable, but it seems others want me to keep going and risk being healed when the next zombify is casted (because it's not always exactly a minute between them). I don't understand why people don't just bring pots anyway.

@Tertiac It's perfectly reasonable and in fact that's what most clerics were doing during the time I've been pqing. Honestly I tell them to pot after the first zombify and that if they die that I don't really care.

If your party is yelling at you because you stop healing during zombify, just ignore them and their stupidity. Pick either/or as long as you don't kill yourself on accident.

The perfect team? There really isn't a perfect team unless you're talking about the fastest way to beat the balrog. Since you can do only normal and everyone gets nerfed to level 70 stats, honestly you should just go 15 assassins or so (which would improbable but would do the most damage if everyone has very good equipment) and that they're ranged so they don't require movement.

I really can't say there's a perfect team though since super dmg > skill > weak damage.

@SwooZzZ It is used for crafting balrog scroll and shoes. In order to reach the area, you have to go down sleepywood (in the cave) until you reach Dungeon: Another Entrance with 3 portals. Take the most bottom portal and go down the long case of stairs until you reach the guy (Going pass the guy will lead to Balrog PQ area). He can craft a scroll using 1/7/15/30 pieces of balrog leathers (higher # = higher success rate and better scrolls I believe [like stats]) or a balrog leather shoes (???)

To sign up, you need to talk to Manji first to get into the area. After that you need to talk to Mu Young to sign up for the PQ.

As long as the Hero's gladius is in your EQUIP (because technically it's a weapon now after it's awakened), you will get the buff unless you overwrite the buff with something else during the PQ.

There's a chance that chaos scroll could drop. It also shows when having the monster cards but the chances of it ever dropping is almost as rare as bain equipments on normal mode so.... yeah have fun trying to do it. I've completed this pq at least 200 times and I haven't really found a chaos scroll and only two twilight scrolls.

1) The EXP gained is 260k per run which can take anywhere from 10 minutes to 20 minutes depending on party.

2) The recommended party size for doing easy mode is 6 (it's max anyway). The requirement to do Easy BPQ is level 50-70 and have a minimal of 3 people out of 6. Normal BPQ is level 50+ and have a minimal of 6 people out of 15 max.

3) This PQ is worth it if the party know what they're doing. Just remember that you can do any BPQ only up to 7 a day, excluding failing.
