  • you recomend 3s ?

  • @Gioliveira95 Nop. But you can take care, improving the heat disipation, and measuring every time, if you make this, you can try. But with care...

  • @DaviDVDBCN ok tks ;)

  • iF YOU GET A TURNIGY 1:16 YOU NEED TO GET THE BEATLE.

  • @TheGoofy1011 I think Beatle is better than Short course.

  • it's a good car ? can use turnigy 2s 2200mah ?

  • @polacotf2 Isn't good car. And no, this battery is bigger for it.

  • I got one and it's breaking just by looking at it. Don't even need to drive it because if I did it wouldn't even go through one pack before something going wrong.

  • @Hobby331 The quality is bad, for this reason the only reason to buy is the low price, and for run for fun in a open space area. You never thing to put in a circuit, or hard conditions like mountain or grass. The good part is that the parts are very cheap.....

  • @Hobby331 how do you drive it

  • what lipo did you end up using, 2 or 3s?

  • @enrique4u2 2S ever. Is suficient.

  • This or the $49 stadium truck?

  • @RocketBurn11 I like this one cuz you can use 3S with it. sure you can use a 3s with the stadium truck but idk if hobbyking will warrenty it if you do.

  • good vid, btw how much was it

  • @seankwon123 60 bucks from hobbyking.

  • sdo NiMH batteries work on this?

  • @seankwon123

Do they still make NiMH batteries for RC vehicles? Ha, just kid'n. But in all seriousness, lipos are way better and cheap. It used to be that lipos were expensive to buy and required expensive chargers. Those days are long gone. You can get two 2S lipo packs and the balance charger for $50.

  • @redrex3 yeah i know, but i dont want to spend the time and buy a lipo pack, cause my brother has 2 extra NiMH batteries. Also he said that if i over charge it, it will explode.

  • @seankwon123 WIth NiMH can run well. But if you take care with lipo, isn't a problem. Only not overdischarge, take a decent balanced charger, and storage inside LIPOSAFE.

  • @seankwon123 its true, lipos will explode and catch fire if you overcharge them but so will nimh batteries.

  • @redrex3 Yes, but it's needed better caution with it. And this car, for the little space, i think is better nimh by far. But you can try if you have, test with 6 elements pack.

On hobbyking, one 2S 1450MaH cost a bit lower than 10$.... Isn't expensive, but remember that ned a charger that can charge Lipo Batteries.

  • @seankwon123 they will although for the weight and size, its not really worth it. its like 8 bucks for a 2s or 3s lipo from hobbyking (buy one while you pick up the car there and save on shipping) and about 5 bucks for a cheapy balance charger which will work just fine off ebay.

  • the only thing about the HSP 1:16 cars is that they cost over 2X the price as one of these rc cars. Even if i did break one of these cars, I could buy a brand new one and still come out cheaper then how much a single HSP car would be. BTW: have not broken mines yet and I've crashed it hard a few times already.

These little trucks can really take a beating! hobby king has all the parts btw and their super cheap.

  • @silverfd Try on offroad, is very bad for this, and the 1:16 hsp is good for this. The parts are stronger, and you can upgrade some parts to aluminium.

The Hobbyking is very cheap, the parts are very cheap, but the quality isn't good, I broke one part very easy. And on offroad, at few minutes one little stone block the main gear. The settings posiblities aren't good also.

As you say, is a very cheap car, for an ocasional play is good, and always on road, not on offroad.

  • @silverfd is the motor water proof

  • @newvids352 no it is not

  • @silverfd the motor is not water proof

  • @newvids352 I'm not sure if i said it was waterproof but I agree that its not.

still, its a great little trucky

  • what battery did you finally use? would you recomend me to buy this truck? thanks for the information.. :)

  • @098santi I play only with 2S. With 2S is suficient speeed. Some people say that try with 3S. But I not recommend if you not install heatsink and fan on ESC, and motor.

Try with 2S, the car, you can check that is very fast. At 3S, this car could be terrible fastest and uncontrolable.

  • @DaviDVDBCN yes with a 3S its hella fast but nobody said to hold down the throttle and go WOT all the time. It's nice to know you have the power if you want it and you get use to having all that extra power. With the 2S, you can't get any more power if you need it but with the 3S, you can just use some self control and have a much better time I think.

  • @silverfd Yes Silverfd, I agree. But some people can't control well, and is easiest with 2S, and suficient speed for major people that buy this car.

    But I agree your comment.

  • I got this truck today, on a 2200mah 3S lipo, holy crap its fast!!! fun and pretty tough. I put on fuel line hoses for a real car to all the diff/dogbone connections so they wouldnt come out and have been taking it easy as i can only go WOT for a second or 2 before its so fast is hard to control. its a super fun little truck at an amazing price, I like it! 4wd burnouts are easy and so are axial doughnuts.

  • thanks for the review. Even though it's not great quality i think i will buy one seen the price.

  • @oellinass

Is nothing. But remember, isn't good quality.

  • @oellinass get a 3S, I ran mines today for 30 mins and used up a wopping 380mah. No real damage other then scratchs to the body from me flipping the truck off jumps and stuff like that. So far I have run mines every day between 30-60 mins at least and its going great! I have yet to run out of battery power on a 2200mah 3S lipo.

  • @silverfd cool. thanks for the advise.

  • @oellinass 60 bucks is hard to beat! considering the next brand up is like 300 bucks...

  • @silverfd Check HSP 1:16 cars. are around 140bucks, and are better than this.

I have one video with one of this 1:16 buggy from HSP: /watch?v=daic_zatJgs

  • @DaviDVDBCN, where did you buy these rims?do you have the measure ?

  • @SchulzWill I buy 1:10 Rims, with 1:10 hexagons, the pin that transmit power to hexagon not fit well because is little, but goes well.

  • Thanks a lot for the video. I've considered to buy such a one for myself, just for fun. Considering its price that's a good deal :)

  • thanks for the review :)

  • @TEAMBLACKCOUNTRY Is nothing. ;)

  • Cramming it through a a foot of grass isnt really what people mean by offroading though. Let er rip in a sandpit, thats what shortcourse trucks do. ;)

  • I run it on 3s and burn the motor on second battery pack + the dogbones that connect to the wheels had to be secured cos they were falling off the truck.

quite expensive toy for an hour of fun :)

  • @deda666 Yes, I explain that this car weren't at good quality. On vídeo only test with 2s, because I am not secure that 3s burns the car. Probably you need heatsinks and funs, or simple can't wear 3s. I am sorry four your lost, you can buy motor/esc replacements with a better quality on other stores. For example nitrorcx. But the pieces of car need buyed on HK.

  • at 1 sec howed you get those rims and such and i heard 1/10 fit in it

  • @freeman5080 Yes, it can install. I install 1:10 foam tires, that are little smaller than other onroad tires. The little bar that makes traction to hex not fill well, but make well the traction. Only you need to maintain the tire good pressed, because is if dance, this bar can go out and loss-it. This tires appear at final vídeo, on the street.

  • helo, may i know you use 2s or 3s lipo and what C. The motor is standard?

  • @cipetlah I use Lipo 2S. All the car is standard. Except at the final of the video that i changed the tires for onroad.

  • The car running at 6:34
