I always wondered how this was done. Very interesting, than you. Although, the stent that was used for my kidney transplant fell out by itself. It wasn't painful at all.
@forgivn70x7 Your surgeon was a prick then. They put me to sleep because my health insurance covered it. They should have been nice and given you anesthesia.
@forgivn70x7 oh my goodness! That is horrible! I am so sorry! You usually have general anesthesia for stent placement and removal. I would not go back to that surgeon; find another one. :(

Should a person have a local anesthesia for removal of kidney stents? I just had one removed without anything and the doctor was rude to me!!!!!!!
