this jeep could definatly be an x5 killer. Has the luxury and comfort of the x5, if not better. Cheaper with better features. The x5 is a great car but off road and what not it just can't compare to its competitors. The x5 could be one of the better road going suv's but for the ones who go off the beaten path or in snow or whatever, definatly go with the jeep.
I just bought a 2011 Grand Cherokee Larado and overall I am happy with it but the major things I would like to see improved are the acceleration and the fuel economy. This thing drinks gas just as bad as the 1996 Mercedes Benz E-320 I traded in for it. Again, overall... I am satisfied with my purchase I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. If it got better mileage on the gas I'd give it a 9 and if it picked up speed faster I'd give it 10. (mine is white with black cloth seats)
Send me a new JGC 4x4 with the V6 and I'll put it to a true test. I spend hours on trails camping and hunting in all conditions I'll gladly take a jeep and give a 100% reliability test.
So if they went through all this testing, why are there so many complaints from people who have bought them? Most common complaints are leaks in the roof, engines knocking and engines burning oil? To charge $40-50k for a nicely equipped Jeep, these problems should no be present in a vehicle less than a year old!!!
Never been a fan of jeep,but this one has an european touch,i heard some say this is the X5 killer,i own a 2010 BMW X5,& love it,so i really don't know if this jeep is actually capable of defeating the X5...
If you wanna test the new car - come to the eastern europe and our roads will make the real test. High quality roads don't give enough presure and aloud the car and details live much more.
thats awesome, its nice to know that they are going the extra mile (or 2.5 million miles) to make sure the customers are happy with their vehicles for a long time, hats off to you Chrysler!!!
its amazing that it took fiat to get chrysler to look at doing this you would have thought that the 80's through the early 90's would have given chrysler the idea that they needed this sort of program after all of the crappy transmission issues with any car or truck of that era now I feel like fiat did something other then bringing small cars in the mix
Check the picture on the wall behind the guy at 1:01, and then a couple of times after that. Currant Viper with prototype nose? or.......... next Viper. I've never seen that before.
@Miradart Nice catch. It must be some custom racing version or something. It looks to have a slightly different wing at the back and different wheels also. Maybe a prototype before the 03 redesign.
WHY ARE THE CARS SO DIRTY

@steve9509 sell...
pcgamingman 1 year ago
@pcgamingman They sell them in pieces. They are not allowed to sell them as whole cars.
bradarel22 1 year ago
@steve9509 They basically recycle these cars, but they usually disasseble them and sell the parts to junk yards.

They should do this kind of testing on the Jeep Wrangler as well. The Wrangler has some serious reliability issues.
