I think carlyle is more than a company buying out companies & making profits.... carlyle has local agents in all countries .... maybe most of them became head of state or top politicians in their respective countries...... in SHORT they topple governments & install their own agents as policy maker of that country...... maybe they think they are the world government..... who is funding them that is the QUESTION? : > )

The Carlyle group is incredibly well connected and has a great number of powerful, and potentially dangerous, individuals as members. But I think it is oddly naive to focus on them. There is nothing particularly unique about them. Like most corporations, they seek to expand and widen their sphere of influence and control in order to perpetuate the interests of stakeholders. They peddle highly connected members to facilitate deals, but they aren't fundamentally different from other companies.

Also not sure what them having their meeting on 9/11 has to do with anything. I'm not sure how that's damming; if they were somehow involved, why in the hell would they have their annual meeting on that day and have the half-brother of the man who was going to be blamed for the attack present?

What possible benefit was there in having an annual meeting on that day (if they were in on it) and having Shafiq Bin Laden there? His presence at the meeting led to significantly negative PR and the loss of the Bin Ladens, who were huge clients. Do powerful criminals also like to deliberately harm their own interests while "putting it in your face?"
