What these women were crying over is ironicly the very thing he selfishly removed himself from. This is himself. "Don't kill yourself". Find a salution to the problem. Or just live with it. Life is always the best choice.
He could live with family,friends, fame,furtune,women screaming and wanting him at his beck and call. But like all others who kill themselves over personal matters. He could not live with himself.

omg, winter sonata is my most favorite korean drama. I just came to know park yong ha's dead yesterday when i was searching for a new drama of yoon eun hye. My gosh, why do he have to end his life?? there are so much more people in the world with indescribable hurts in their hearts...there is always hope, when you stop seeing it that is when you live the day like a dead person.

try living in korean society. really. i'm always afraid of going there, though i'm korean myself. the society is very big on reputation. if you go to a psychologist, people will start talking and saying that you're crazy. that's why koreans do not seek help. they all rather keep it inside rather than let it all out. suicide rates over there is CRAZY.
I agree with you on "reputation" and "saving face". I remember an American made a joke about "saving face" to me not realizing that was Korean culture. Koreans need to relax and stop being so hard on themselves. I think this horrible part of the culture comes from Confuscianism. Confuscianism did more bad than good for Koreans. Don't they have a psychiatrist or psychologist whom they could run to and ask for help? Aren't there Clinics where it offers counsel service to distressed people who are having some difficulties in life?

i think it would've been better if that area was quiet so that friends and family of park yong ha can send him off in peace and he can rest in peace too. i'm not sure if those people yelling/crying are his fans or the idols', who went to send him off, fans but they are creating a lot of disturbances and those cameras that were flashing the entire time was very disrespectful. especially to his family, imagine how they would feel if they see people taking pics of them while they're in mourning?

I'm not entirely sure, but the press said that he was stressed about work, and a friend that betrayed him and brought a financial problem upon him. Some minor sources state that he was also grieved by his father's illness.
I don't know who this guy is but a funeral is always so sad. This is terrible and to think reading here that he took his own life well he is resting but his poor family and friends and then his fans who truly loved him this is horrible.

The lady on our right is actress and Miss Korea 2000, Park Shi Yeon, who had become very close to PYH while shooting "A man's story" with him. She was acting in the kdrama "Coffee House" when that tragedy occured.

The girl from BOF is called Jang ja yeon, and she didnt have any kids but yes she did leave a journal and suicide note talking about the sexual favours and abuse bit. The other lady with the kids your referring to is a highly regarded rather was highly regarded as one of the best actresses Korea had, and her name is choi-jin shil, she had two kids and left them behind. She got involved with some money scandal and ofcourse public scrutiny.

This truly shocked me. I had just finished watching Winter Sonata a few days prior to this happening, and it was like a slap in the face sort of shock. So talented and seemingly having so much to live for. We will never know why, but he must have had something horribly wrong happening within him to do this IF he truly commited suicide. The news says it is "an apparent suicide" but who truly knows except Park Yong Ha. He will be sorely missed. Rest well, Park Yong Ha.

I still don't believe he committed suicide like what they reported. Sleepless, his father's illness, financial problems in his company? those reasons don't convincing since he could have managed it if he'd tried in new projects. He had a big upcoming film called "Love song" and being on tour. How can a person with many things to do can find death easily? I believe that there are some deep secrets under this sadness. The lady on our right is actress and Miss Korea 2000, Park Shi Yeon, who had become very close to PYH while shooting "A man's story" with him. She was acting in the kdrama "Coffee House" when that tragedy occured.

The girl from BOF is called Jang ja yeon, and she didnt have any kids but yes she did leave a journal and suicide note talking about the sexual favours and abuse bit. The other lady with the kids your referring to is a highly regarded rather was highly regarded as one of the best actresses Korea had, and her name is choi-jin shil, she had two kids and left them behind. She got involved with some money scandal and ofcourse public scrutiny.

This truly shocked me. I had just finished watching Winter Sonata a few days prior to this happening, and it was like a slap in the face sort of shock. So talented and seemingly having so much to live for. We will never know why, but he must have had something horribly wrong happening within him to do this IF he truly commited suicide. The news says it is "an apparent suicide" but who truly knows except Park Yong Ha. He will be sorely missed. Rest well, Park Yong Ha.

when i heard the news i was sooo shocked!,he was so talented and beautiful to die at such a young age!,couldn't believe he's dead.after remembering 'winter sonata' & 'on air' it's just doesn't seem real,he was such a great actor!. it's so sad about his dad's cancer & the whole depression he was going through,even sadder that he said his work and life were too difficult.it makes me wanna cry.

I still don't believe he committed suicide like what they reported. Sleepless, his father's illness, financial problems in his company? those reasons don't convincing since he could have managed it if he'd tried in new projects. He had a big upcoming film called "Love song" and being on tour. How can a person with many things to do can find death easily? I believe that there are some deep secrets under this sadness.
