There's some great female comedians about other than the legendary Jo, Dawn French is hilarious, Shappi Khorsandi, Julie Walters, Catherine Tate (more of a personal taste thing I think but I love her), Kathy Burke, Sarah Millican's ok, Holly Walsh - my new fave, I could go on you just need to do your research really

Of course it also helps that she's extremely intelligent, unlike a lot of women in the public eye. If you don't have big tits and can spell, the media aren't interested.
