I have one question. You said Ram is Bhagvan not Dev and Bramha, Vishnu, Shiv are Mahadev. But Ram was a part (swarup) of Vishnu. How you explain this?
so who is the creater of these all Davies and dvitas, ???
are these Davies and devitas doing some thing with the permition of God or they ve atuority doing them self,... in other words do these davies and divitas get help from the God or no....?
@Curiousquest2 no, but it is possible to chose a path to worship some. black magic goes to shiv, the destroyer and kali. many other things go to a particular god but their are 3 main gods. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiv
I just look at the Gods and Goddesses as ways for us to personify different qualities of God, even though they are all just different ways of imagining the One. When I want to focus my energry to see the One as a mother Goddess, I imagine God as a mother Goddess. When I go to school, I carry a picture of Sarasvati, to remind myself that God is with me through all of my efforts. I don't believe in any Hindu mythology, yet I am still a Hindu.
Is it necessary to have an object to worship to? Is it a necessary part of religion? I know having an alter is a nice thing to have, but is it necessary to prostrate yourself in front of an image and if so, what does that have to do with spirituality? Noreen Wilkins
Just like mother mary or shakti. Those are just symbolic of the feminine energy that lies dormant within everyone. But of course people worship that symbolic picture as idols.Adam and eve must reunite to achieve the liberation.
@shashi2305 , yes ur right, word hindu is no where found in Vedas, the correct adjective for anyone who follows Vedas is Aryas which means the noble ones.
Great vid here, helped to learn some more about Hinduism. But, not to offend Mr. Yogeesh or anyone here who does not have faith in Christianity...but Mr. Yogeesh is ignorant in regards to Saints in "All Embracing Christianity" a.k.a Catholicism. At 8:40 he says Catholics worship Saints...FALSE, they are "prayed" to, not equivalent to worshiping the ONE GOD. Pray means "to ask" in jewish/christian biblical context...Again, just wanting to correct the misinformation.
If a person has a mobile/cell phone telling them the time, the date, the temperature, with internet access, a calculator, a camera, a video-recorder of the highest quality, would the person prefer to get one phone with only the time on it, another phone with only the temperature, another with only the internet, another with a camera, and another with a video recorder on it? Is it not more logical to use ONE phone with ALL the features you require? It is the same with the ONE God versus many gods
@Peace4everynation : You compare God to Human limitations? Yes, I agree, we are limited with our senses of perceptions. You only have one mind and you don't understand yourself completely, you're not able to grasp all your capacity... and.....You think you would understand God alone? Foolish pride my friend...
Can you show me 2 people who like the exact same model of cell phone, car, TV, music system, pens, desktops, caps, socks, and practically every accessory they use?
Different aspects of divinity appeal to different people. Also, with Hinduism it is not the case that there are many gods. Rather it is ONE God manifesting as many as per the individual's mental ability.
If God is One and has all power to answer the prayers of those who worship Him, and the power to help them and protect them, then what is the need of worshipping what people declare to be demi-gods, goddesses, etc.? I worship the One God, and have found Him to possess all power ascribed to devas, devtas and devis.
Let me Quote you something said by a very famous Hindu saint:
"My worship is of a very strange kind.
In this Ganges water is not required.
No special utensils are necessary.
Even flowers are redundant.
In this puja all gods have disappeared.
And emptiness has emerged with euphoria.
He is talking about the highest meditation technique of raising energy from the base of the spine upwards to the Crown Chakra. That is why I said, you do not have to find God, you have to realize him within.
First of all you cannot believe anything until you experience it yourself. You cannot even believe Religion unless you experience divine consciousness. Divinity in Hinduism is beautiful and magnificent. Divinity is Experienced by Raising the Kundalini energy from the Muladhara Chakra to the Sahasrara Chakra in the crown of the Head. Other religions do not even come close to such intense metaphysical truth. The Nadis, the Chakras, The Kundalini, The Third Eye, Mantra, Tantra, Moksha.
What you all must understand is that you are all infinitesimals and trying to find out about the infinite. God is out of your reach. And if you think that he is non existent than you are truly ignorant. God is the reason and God is the cause of the creation. Ignoring the presence of the supreme being, mentally dwelling on the senses he with such a deluded intellect is called a hypocrite. Even if you learn science you must learn to acknowledge God with Love.
Hinduism is commonly perceived as a polytheistic religion. Indeed, most Hindus would attest to this, by professing belief in multiple Gods. While some Hindus believe in the existence of three gods, some believe in thousands of gods, and some others in thirty three crore i.e. 330 million Gods. However, learned Hindus, who are well versed in their scriptures, insist that a Hindu should believe in and worship only one God.
The major difference between the Hindu and the Muslim perception of God is the common Hindus belief in the philosophy of Pantheism. Pantheism considers everything, living and non-living, to be Divine and Sacred. The common Hindu, therefore, considers everything as God. He considers the trees as God, the sun as God, the moon as God, the monkey as God, the snake as God and even human beings as manifestations of God!
Yes exactly! but there is only one supreme god in the end. Most people still misunderstand Hindu mythology because those 33 million gods are manifestations of the supreme god Narayan. And you must not consider yourself completely disrelated to the supreme personality of godhead. yes but there is a supreme manifestation of only a single god. but those other 33 million gods are counterparts of that god himself. and human beings, and other living things with a soul are infinitesimal parts of God.
There are so many similarities between what he is saying, and what the Bible teaches, about the Oneness of GOD, being a UNITY. This word UNITY is both singular and plural at the same time.
"For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love. " (1 Corinthians 13)
There is no oneness in Bible. It says the father, the son and holy ghost are one. I am asking is this unity. Certainly not.....
Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity for himself. He clearly announced the nature of his mission. Jesus (pbuh) was sent by God to confirm the previous Judaic law.
god allah.. how ever you call it, is everywhere... within you within me within every plant within all animals... god cant be outside of the unisverse... cause god is everything
If you dont believe, keep it to yourself. Do you really think you are the first person to claim that God doesnt exist? Why cant you grow up and realize that your existence is meaningless?
I think we're very close to that. But also there's a great awakening happening around the world, so I think we will break the agenda before it happens.
All words. Where is god? Only in the minds of believers.

Acharya Shree is saying here at 00:29 : "If there is one God, it is very dangerous."
Because at 01:06, he states: "GOD IS ONLY ONE."
To me it is a contradiction, & is very confusing.
If God is One and has all power to answer the prayers of those who worship Him, and the power to help them and protect them, then what is the need of worshipping what people declare to be demi-gods, goddesses, etc.? I worship the One God, and have found Him to possess all power ascribed to devas, devtas and devis.
