  • Cool! Right on. This airing was on my 20th birthday. :-)

  • RIP Mike Dailey

  • Great Movies, Fashion Television, New Movies, New Music, MediaTelevision, Speakers Corner, Electric Circus... I still can't believe Rogers killed them all.

  • The weatherman on CITY at this time (seen briefly in the opening to the newscast) was David Onley, now the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario...

  • Surprised nobody mentioned Mark Dailey is voicing over a promo for The New Music featuring video from Rush's Subdivisions, which he was a part of.....lol

  • Recognize the anchor on this edition of CityPulse ? It's none other than CNN's John Roberts, back then (1987) going by the name of J D Roberts. A fine reporter indeed. Check him out mornings on CNN's "American Morning: The Most News In The Morning".

  • I don't know where you get all this stuff but keep it coming! Hey, remember when JD used to come around to the high schools with the CHUM "History of Rock n' Roll"?

And of course Glen Cole and his bad rug.

  • I was just 72 days old on 11/6/1987!. Hahahahahaha. Rush & U2 forever. Subdivisions gives me goosebumps every time.

  • THE JITTERS!!!! WOW!!!!

  • LOL "how much for a blowjob?" surprised they didnt bleep that! old news is great. i suppose it cant be called news then though. im enjoying these oldscasts then!

  • i wish city still did some "assignment desk action" on their late edition...i wonder if glen cole would still be at city if he were still alive today...

  • Wow, I forgot Tom Hanks used to make crappy films!

  • I think it's November 6, 1987.

  • Thanks!
