Many, I'd go so far as to say most, school age kids today have a much lower ability with maths then generations before. This is the reason that I suspect most western nations are going to loose their top dog Tec position over the next 10-20yrs.

Without wanting to start an argument have you ever had to teach anything?

It is easy for you because you know how, not everyone is as fast picking up the important points needed to understand a subject. Not everyone learns in the same way.

Some get the theory ASAP and others get the theory only after having practiced the set of instructions to do something.

Some people really DO need to be walked through what looks very simple-sometimes seeing it done another way brings a breakthrough.

Writing is easy, but did you just know how to do it? Or did some one tell you A...B..C...ect

but in this case we are talking about putting zeros as much as there writing. if i tell you to give me 5 dollars would you ask me how does it work to give 5 dollars? the same here. there is writing 3 upon 10. so just put 3 zeros. there is no explaining necessary. all you need is to be able to count. look: one zero, two zeros, three zeros. if you need help here, you've got some problems...

Get your facts right, kid. Futhermore, capitalize the first letter of your sentence and end it with a a full stop/period. Also, you should have included an 'a' before 'fucking'.

you can think of an exponent with base 10 as for example, "10 to the sixteenth power" as a 1 fallowed by 16 zeros
