Great pass by! It's a very interesting and exciting air sport with classic style of air races from the past. :) There should be the competition like fly from point A to B as fast as you can and before others, as the good old air races time in begin of 20th century. :)

I live in Cold Springs just the other side of the hill from the Air Races. I've never paid to get in the gates and wonder if it's worth the high fee to get in? Really haven't found the need to go to the show itself because I live so close. What's your opinion?

Thanks for the comment. I've been going to the races for years. I definitely think it's worth the price of admission. I also buy the pit pass. Just to see the planes up close is phenomenal. I wouldn't pay extra for reserved grandstand seating as general admission seats are great. But I do spend time out along the pylons too, as you can see in my video.
