The aperture series is just so amateur. If you want to get into serious photo editing, switch to lightroom. If you REALLY want to get the real thing, get photoshop. Chase Jarvis is one of the most successful photographers IN THE WORLD. There is no way that he uses aperture for his professional work. This is just creative advertising.
Apple is now disinterested in the creative pro market. Their new buddy is the consumer.
There are more of them and they buy more often.
Aperture 3 was a serious ball-drop for Apple. It *should* have kicked Lightroom's butt. Instead it is a sloth. You saw them using the brushes? Every time you do that the app saves a Tiff file containing your brush strokes.
My system was brought to its knees when I applied a brushed vignette to 500 images, a task that Lightroom shrugs off without event.
@setalaka hey, thanks for bothering to comment on my video, to be honest i wish i was sponsored by apple. i am just a lifeless kid, uploading videos made by apple not me. i haven't really used aperture so it's hard for me to give you a good opinion.
Chase, are you experiencing crashes w/Aperture #3? Honestly, I've used Aperture since it first came out, but #3 is totally unstable, regardless of its creative benefits. Has me thinking of leaping to lightroom... Please let us know if you have similar issues. Thanks
aperture 3 is a nightmare in terms of exporting . it s slow, I had to buy a plug in 45 dollars to be able to burn a dvd from aperture to save time and even with that the format required is not respected . the "retouch " options sucks. Will never buy mac again!

@seb389 Jezus Christ! You know, Aperture 3 is not binded to a mac in any way. So, blaming macs for the fault of Aperture 3 is just silly.

thanks for the video. Just investing in Aperture, checked some videos and found all of them very appreciative about it for the ease of use.
