I don't know if it's mentioned as I haven't read through the comments, but the proper way to play this is to drop the low E (6th string) to a D. The rest of Ed's tunings are usually a half step (or so) down.. except for Eruption. Eruption was probably done with Ed's typical half-step drop, but most folks believe it was sped up a bit in the studio. Anyone who has ever spent any time recording can hear the difference. It's a good trick and it takes nothing from the artist. "Effects" are cool...lol

Wow, awesome job! One of my favorite VH tunes. You really spent a lot of time and effort learning all the details. Also, love the transitions between guitar tracks. I know it's hard sometimes to choose whether to play the lead or rhythm track, but your performance flowed very well. @laney50w It's Drop-D tuning, but with each string lowered a half-step. Db, Ab, Db, Gb, Bb, Eb. Van Halen always had their guitars tuned down a semitone.

Craigman, I hate to be a pest but there is a movement you do between 51 and 54 seconds involving what looks like 2 tap harmonics from 14 to 15 then a pull off and 2 tap harmonics. Not sure how the phrasing exactly goes. Any tips? If not, I understand and keep up the good work.
