@MaxBech spray paint artists, from what I can tell, use something called poster board; its essentially glossy paper, slightly thicker than regular paper. Very similar to the stuff posters are printed on (hence the name). It's certainly the stuff I've bought; I'm hoping to give this stuff a try myself in the near future!

Do you laminate the paintings when you're done with them, you know, to preserve them?

@aznking1551 no, but the look good laminated.I have laminated a few in the past. I prefer keeping the painting like it is because it feels kinda like it might take away from the value. like if you laminated a baseball card or something.
