Clearly, many of you don't know what the hell a poster even is. What is this rubbish about Oden getting there too late and backing off, or about how he barely even contested the shot?
A "Poster" is short for "Posterizing" someone on a dunk. You basically put someone on a kid's poster. This has nothing to do with whether the guy left his feet or not. At the end of the day, the photos are going to be taken and Richard Jefferson will be seen skying over Greg Oden. Therefore, he was posterized.

What are you, 9? Oden clearly got there too late and backed off at the end. Let me try to explain this to you; a poster is when the guy actually leaves the ground to block the shot. It's okay if you feel bitter that you don't have Oden and want him to fail, I would be too knowning he's going to dominate the leauge and my team over the next 10 years.

If you didn't notice my original comment was primarily directed at the people below who are blatantly trashing Oden, not praising the dunk, and like I said before, this isn't a legit poster. You want a poster go watch the dunk Wallace did over Oden, he actually challenged the shot there. Secondly you called me a bitch so sorry if I got a little defensive. I'm just tired of all the Oden hate--which seems to be the only reason this video was posted.
Yea it wasnt a poster. But it was nice to see Oden not even try to contest that when he coulda (Sarcasm)... wasn't this bust suppose to be good on Defense.
PS: Don't tell me hes not a bust. Also don't use his 24 pt game as an example of why hes not a Bust because a first overall pick should be able to get multiple 20 point games.

#1 in blocks (so yes hes good at defense)
Top 10 in all the rebounding percentages
#4 in efficiency per 48 min
Averaging only 24 minutes a game because of foul trouble, and the fact that when he does stay out of foul trouble we usually blow the other team out by the 3rd quarter. He gets to the line and is a good free throw shooter
His 2nd year in the NBA; back from micro fracture surgery, id say thats pretty good. Do you expect him to be Bill Russell right now?
I mean he goes and beats up on Duncan then makes Noah look like a child (who happens to be a good defender and #1 in rebounding). Two years from now no ones going to be able to stop this guy.
Numbers arent everything. Give him time; he has all the tools to be a force in this league.
