My favorite John Waters story is when he told David Letterman that when he showed Divine the script for his movie,"Hairspray" she thought that the part of Tracey Turnblad was for her.
Dear fans of the James Kalm Report. Ive just linked an extensive interview with Salt Lakes own conceptual art gad-fly, and internet maven, Qi Peng. This is a lengthy piece but hits on questions Im constantly asked. Check it out at the lorenmunk site
That ham made me hungry. Loved this show, thanks so much for sharing this one! Only John Waters would come up with pig-latin subtitles over famous scenes. He's skewed in just the right way.
Workmanlike. Your production outshined the subject. It is hard to believe that Tina didn't do her full share of dishing. Best of Youtube. A feature length movie to give us a glimpse of the dark matter holding us in the spiral. Thanks thrice.
Hallelujah! Tell it sister! Hey James, you should have her in the beginning of all your vids! LOL LOL We think alike. I said "Great jacket" and then you did! That puppeteer sculpture is crazy weird. Yeah. Catholic. I know Catholic. The "Mortal, Venial, No Sin" piece made my life flash before my eyes! Visions of nuns are flashing in my brain! Thanks James.

Thank you James Kalm. The subway angel and Waters are riveting subjects. I don't know what they are saying but their poetry of being is Whimanesque.

cool work, I'm a fan of him and his films. Was that puppeteer piece Ike Turner controlling Tina Turner?
