How stupid can you get? The oils are the carriers. The ACTIVE INGREDIENT is the one that kills the bugs. Eugericil is what kills the bugs. Saying that the oil does it, is the same as saying that the WATER in it is killing the bugs. It's STUPID!

Not to mention, that this is likely not food grade Canola oil, but probably a Canola variety that is high in eurucic acid, eurucic acid is used mostly as a lubricant and for pesticides. Canola oil that you see in stores has no eurucic acid in it, and is high in heart healthy Omega 3 and Omega 6 oils, as well as linoleic oils.

@gwald Sorry for the caps lock. Yes, you need to do a toxicity test on the Canola oil itself to come to a correct conclusion. The Canola oil in the pesticide could be just to give it the right consistency, theres lots of reasons why it could be 96% oil beyond the possibility the oil is the pesticide itself.

@LEAHCIM71457 The other 4% are emulsifiers & surfactant compounds which is the main reason for the warnings, & is what allows it to work as it's a concentrate to be mixed with water... Oil and water don't mix, there for you need that 4% in there. This is also why it costs more than just plain canola oil and speaking of cost, this is why they use canola oil , it's cheep and plentiful! Just like is stated in the Video! In fact any oil can be used ! so long as you have the 4%.

Kills on contact because the oil clogs their spiracles (what they breathe through) and they suffocate. IT can also clog the proboscis (feeding tube) causing it to starve. This would be achieved through the surfactant , without it , the oil would wash off
