lol yup the exact day u moved, January 17 1987 is my bday.... I actually just wrote a blog on my myspace page about all the significant things that have happened on January 17th through the past centuary and listed all the famous people born on that day.... Actually pretty interesting

22 years? I was only a year old when that happened, lol. Great to see the places where you used to live man, goes without saying there's many memories there. The fact that the places are covered in snow there makes it even more nostalgic for some reason. And that's something too, living close to a house featured on a makeover show (not that I have any liking for makeover shows, but still...) Many thanks for sharing a bit of your past life man.:)

Ive only moved one time in my life. But I was way to little to remember anything exept driving away taking one last look. I still dont know why that is the only memory I have of my old house.

Many parts of St.James has been getting quite expensive, but its nice to see no McMansions on that block.

That's Lake Ave you drove down, I walked down it once up to the LIRR, by King Kullen, it was tricky because there's no sidewalks.

Ah yes the old St. James house - I have a lot of memories from that house too Shane. I agree I think I like the Miller Place house the best too even though I was there for a short time. The summers were the best in that house.

That's really cool. I've only moved once in my life, but luckily it was only several blocks away, so both you and I were fortunate enough not to move far away. I think you should keep making memory videos, because they're really cool.

Yeah, it's really cool that out of all the times I have moved, it was all within a few miles, so I can either ride my bike, or take a short car ride to any of my old neighborhoods.

I know exatly where that house is. Back in 1989 I looked at buying a house on the next block south. Didn't buy it. St. James is a really nice area. We have gone to that Carvel many, many times too.

Oh cool. You remember that episode? That is right around the corner from where I used to live and still only a few minutes from where I currently live. What's funny is my brother was in the same class in the police academy as John Vitale. Also, a colleague from church is his boss in the police department.

I'm actually living in the fifth place now, I've moved four times in my life. You are lucky to have stayed in the same home all these years, I couldn't imagine what it would be like if I still lived in that first house.

So you do remember the Vitale family episode? That's awesome. Yeah, that happened right around the corner from where I used to live, and is still only a few minutes from where I currently live. Pretty cool, huh?

A lot of people say that, I have a good memory and stuff. lol. I'm glad I do, I don't know how I would live without it. The snow and the scenery sure is indeed beautiful, but I prefer the heat of summer any day. I just had to stop by and show that house since I was in the area, it's so cool that it took place right around the corner from where I used to live.
