  • @chrycohauler you do understand the south was comepletely Democrat back in the 60s right? In fact it was Democrats that passed the racist Jim Crow laws in the first place. Republicans have a long history of believing in personal liberties......until the ultra-righteous evangelicals got involved that is. You know who I'm talking about the people who believe it is far more important to pay attention to what other people are doing than to just mind their own business. The Dems had that problem too

  • liberals in my country are driven out and whipped till the demons live them

  • it is so shameful the way those who are and whip them called liberals act. In our country such as those would be marched through the town square and whip them to drive the demons from their bodies

  • that the difference between liberals and conservatives is that we stand on ridged inflexible standards which put us diametrically opposed to your lifestyles and that liberals have no morals, have no foundation, no policy other then "try to be all things to all people" in order to manipulate them for hat ever "soup du jour" agenda you have at any particular moment.

  • Obama water boarder... surfs up! Thank you Mr. Leon Panette for handing we conservatives the ultimate weapon in dismantling the 1- hypocritical 2- disingenuous 3- duplicitous reality which is the true nature of who liberals are. By your own admissions that Obama knew of and condone water boarding of Islamic Muslims and that you AND all those with you in Obama's war room staring intently as events unfolded was A LIE, you have handed us the ability to prove the quintessential proof

  • In practical terms, "Reaganomics" has to be considered one of the reasons that Reagan has come to be thoughtof as a great president. Reaganomics created an unprecedented period of economic prosperity.

  • Reagan is my hero.

  • The periods in which religious life has been the most vital are the periods in which it has flourished. This began with the American Revolution which was born out of a religious revival popularly referred to as "The Great Awakening." Ministers and church pastors were the first provocateurs of the Revolution. Once again, i urge you to see that societies are complex systems that develop over time and can't be taken apart and reassembled without FUNDAMENTALLY changing their nature.

  • @periechontology With regard to your second post, I wud point out that the American revolution was surprisingly secular for its time considering that, before the French revolution, there was little in the way of dissent against the Christian view of the World.

There is also the religiousity of the South versus the North to consider. If Faith is so good for society then why do the most religious areas of the US have the worst economic & social statistics (e.g. Crime)?

  • @tdp1909

as for a comparison of the North and South of the United States , you do realize that the underlying causes for social conditions of particular geographical regions of a nation (particularly one with a history like the U.S.) is an extremely complicated and multifaceted issue don't you? Actually the crime stats are quite fluid. 20 years ago, New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago and other big cities in the North dwarfed Southern cities when it came to crime.

  • American religion is different in many respects from traditional European religion, and serves unique functions.

The French writer Alexis de Tocqueville made some interesting observations about these differences.

  • The United States of America during the Reagan administration was the freest civilization ever know to man! We have moved away from that ever since. I'm sad.

  • Reagan is utterly inspiring, even to someone from the UK like me.

However, as a Conservative, I disagree with him about 'Faith'.

Sound reasoning & belief in the common good are better Conservative values & are what made him such a great President (IMHO), rather than any belief in the ridiculous...

  • @tdp1909

No civilization has ever operated in that manner (conservative free markets and a secular public). If you believe in Reagan and Edmund Burke's observations than you believe in experience and accumulated cultural wisdom. Religion has been a functionally central and necessary component of American democratic life. Regardless of how you feel about it personally, this is a truth. Removing an American democratic capstone on the basis of theoretics is not wise.

    religion

  • @periechontology I admit it has been influential, but that doesn't mean Faith should be a Conservative value. Under the same logic you could say that because the Founding Father's were almost all creationists, then so should we be as their views & beliefs helped write the greatest document ever written.

I'd take sound reasoning over faith as a conservative value anyday.

  • The issue is what WORKS, one can debate what is true forever. My focus was not the founding fathers but the general citizenry or the common people who truly set the course for a country. The question is what has been shown to foster a mindset conducive to inalienable rights among them? One seriously does not want to randomly experiment with this just because of one's own biases toward religion. You can hate religion in private if you like lol.

  • @periechontology I'm inclined to agree with your pragmatism & sense of real politik, but I think for one it doesn't work & for two that truth should prevail.

From personal experience, religion doesn't work, in fact it tends to retard people views of events. It's far better to question things (as Reagan did), than dogmatically have faith.

On the second, I think 90% of Christians have the pragmatic attitude & are 'believers in belief'. It would be better if they realised how little use faith is.

  • "Personal experience"? We are talking about societies. And we are not talking about the practice of religion within some theoretical context, but relative to the concrete utility it has shown itself to have in American civil life. The best judge of what works is what has worked. In addition, U.S. stats show that as the nation has grown less religious (although still very religious relative to Europe) the quality of education, economic freedom, and the stability of family units have fallen.

  • @periechontology I can sympathise with ur utilitarian view of religion, although I think two things negate it.

First thing is that, even if it does create a utopian society of peace & harmony, if it ain't the truth then that society is living a lie &, furthermore, is wasting time & energy on priorities it shudn't. It may seem a naive view, but politics shud really be about truth.

Second is that u forget the downsides of 'Faith'- the Dark Ages occurred because society valued Faith over Science.

  • @tdp1909 The Dark Ages occurred quite simply because of the disintegration of the Roman Empire (and the absence of any great power to replace it). Prior to this there had usually been significant powers already lined up t fill the void from Babylon to Persia, to Alexander's Grecian kingdom etc. Now we had only a collection of fractured tribal territories that had to evolve into mature powerful political states, thus ending the Dark Ages (in about the 10th or 11th century).

  • All of your talk about truth and "living a lie" is starting to make you sound like a preacher lol.

That aside, i don't get your point about the American Revolution? The Revolutionists certainly saw what they were doing as consistent with a Christian world view. As i have said, ministers were some of the principle instigators of the Revolution. The rhetoric of the men of the Revolution was stepped in religion.

It was a religion much different in it's political conclusions than that of Europe

  • @tdp1909

Oh i forgot, to add this

The Romans (whose dominance preceded the Dark Ages) would not have even recognized the ethos you have described which opposes religion to science, that is an Enlightenment ethos.

  • Sorry I'm late to the party. But Thanks for making this available. I would have voted this man king. He was a GOOD man. The closest to our founding fathers than any other president in recent history.

  • I can't believe why the teacher of my little 11 year old brother is brainwashing him and his class with heavily criticizing this great president. But it's Europe no wonder!

  • The 3 greatset Presidents in the history of our country are (and in no particular order) George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and President Ronald Reagan. Everytime I hear President Reagan speak it brings tears to my eyes. I remember being so young and being reassured during the cold war that President Reagan wouldn't let anything happen to me. I am eternally greatful to this man. We need another leader of his stature. I'm in my early 40's and once again? I'm scared for my country!

  • I am now a total fan of wyattmcintyre. Ty for uploading this. YOU are truely a great American!

  • I have decided that most conservatives aren't really racist. They would just prefer black people were invisible.

  • @aikido7 Stop using Aikido as your name. You do not know the first thing about Aikido if you are spouting off the mouth on your liberal political views. I am Aikidoka. Way beyond you I promise. Get rid of the youtube screen name it's offensive to me.

  • @SuperGuitarman69

    Okay. Sorry.

  • @aikido7 It's all good. Who do you train under?

  • @aikido7

I've decided that you are brainwashed.

  • @periechontology 65% of GOP doesn't think or doesn't know Barry Hussein was born in US. Why? FEAR. McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone, for gosh sakes! Not every conservative is a racist, but all racists tend to be conservative. Racists are AFRAID & when you're fearful you attribute the worst qualities to your enemy & this brings on more rear for you. Uppity, terrorist, socialist, Anti-Christ, Nazi, dictator--that's what always happens: scapegoat your enemy as less than human.

  • @aikido7 racists tend to be conservative?..who held up the passing of the civil rights act of 1964?.look up Robert byrd former grand dragon of that racist filth group KKK...also Al Gore Sr...and what do these 2 have in common?LIBERALS!!!..who always throws out the race card every election?..LIBERALS!!!..spare us your leftist bullshit and get your facts straight.

  • @chrycohauler Yes. Racism is a WITHDRAWAL, a reluctance to engage with the wider world. Your anger and juvenile obscenities belie your own paucity of heart and soul. Crycohauler, Why do you hate America?

  • @aikido7 In the clouded world that is your mind..what makes you think I hate America? America is the greatest country ever given to man by God..Like it or not we are all racist to some degree..liberals more so than others.Have no worries about my heart and soul.I know where my heart lies.I must tell you that your touchy feely "We are the World" mindset sickens me.

  • @chrycohauler Liberals are not the ones who fought slavery. Progressive legislation is what carried the day in the 1960s. Liberals aren't suspicious or afraid of differences. Diversity has a long and true tradition for the left wing. Not all conservatives are stupid, but most stupid people tend to be conservative. Put THAT in the bank and take some Pepto-Bismol for the "tocuhy feely." After all, it's loooove brother. It's LOVE.

  • Thank god this imperialist retard is dead and being eaten by maggots.

  • How dare you. I doubt that anything I say can possibly sway your warped radical views. However, simple human decency denounces your statement. There are a number of people that I don't agree with on their politics, but that is no reason to wish death on them. I don't like the policies of Obama, but I don't wish death on him. I won't be celebrating when he dies. The thought of doing such a thing is sick. Regardless of what your politics are, saying that about somebody you disagree with is twisted

  • @alpha11110

    1st amendment

    P.S. i don't like obama much either

  • @grapeswisherblunt

In case you didn't notice, I never challenged your right to say what you did. I just said that it was a disturbed thing to say.

And my point with Obama was that, just because I don't like the man doesn't make it necessary to say such things about him.

  • Being a conservative in America means conserving the principles of the American Revolution. Paradoxically, American conservatism seeks to conserve a certain kind of liberalism. IT means fighting to uphold the classical liberalism of the founding from assault by liberalism of a different sort.

  • Commerce drives the wedge between the serf and his fuedal lord. Commerce makes the middle class ( the merchant class) possible. The left hates commerce because the free market provides men the means to determine their own course.

  • vktrsx, you're right, conservatives did try to keep us from getting here. Here where the economy is smashed. Here where American kids can't read and are laughed at around the world. Here where filth clog the TV screens and radio air waves. Here where 25 million illegal aliens ruin our cities and bankrupt states like California. Here where we look up to pimps and ho's and gangsters and thugs. Here where people don't know the three branches of government, but know the three sluts of hollywood

  • I agree. It took deregulation to stop the depression. Who cares if the world laughs? Education is liberal. We need strict govt. control of ALL the media FILTH.

Aliens should NEVER be allowed to LIVE here. The legal ones are just as bad. It IS liberals who look up to thugs. Liberals in the past idolized Billy the Kid and there so taken with Hitler, Nixon & Michael Moore. Why do they glorify violence & war on TV and movies? Busnessmen like Trump and Gates should be heros.

  • @aikido7

ummm....... no FDR's new deal was all about regulating banks and the stock market, lack of regulation is actually what started the depression. gov't conrtrol of the media is a very communist ideal FYI, and "The legal ones are just as bad" sooo.... you are a racist.

    read a book sometime

  • @grapeswisherblunt

You are right. I AM racist. When you say "read a book sometime" it sounds sarcastic. Did you mean it that way?

  • Excellent comment you made a month ago! I completely agree with you, Mainsail76.

  • Then let's look at most liberal state call California. California has high number of illegal immigration, highest tax, spending, and deficit in the nation. And for four consecutive years, more middle class family and business owner moved out of CA then moving in.

  • ok kenny.. back that up..

and which 3 categories would you stick Ron Paul in?

  • so you think that people should be handed money? instead of working for it. every big corparation has a humble beginning they just happen to make up 70% of the economy in the US

  • Go and fuck yourself you left wing slime ball.

  • There are 12 types of left wing liberals: losers, masochists, moral relativists, traitors, political whores, people with no pride, dignity, honor and integrity, satan worshippers, anarchists, crazy brain dead environmentalists, Communists, self haters and despots.

  • Don't let yourself get blinded by liberalism so much you ignore the facts. Name calling are not helpful for Conservatives for solving problems. We will come back & will fix problems, not blame. Liberals that mock and denigrate others will never win. Only when we stay true to our tactics will we destroy the liberals and their "tear down everything" philosophy. Self hating liberals ALWAYS are projecting out their own denied shortcomings.

  • We need him now!!!!

  • Great video Wyatt! He was a great man

  • In my opinion Reagan was not only the GREATEST republican president ever, but one the best presidents ever.

  • I couldn't agree more

  • @MostlyPoliticalStuff

I keep hearing this. What did he do? His deficit spending was out of control, he hugged and wooed a communist dictator, he lowered the tax rate for businesses and corporations so much that we are still seeing the results. He also wanted to get rid of all nuclear weapons. What GOOD did he do?

  • @MostlyPoliticalStuff he is right up there with President Lincoln the father of the republican Party as an african american i feel closes to the republican party the party of frderiick douglas Lincoln harriet Tubman and of course Ronald Reagan

  • † In Hoc Signo Vinces †

  • is this the new profile my friend?

  • conservative values are respect for the armed forces, having a universal respect for innocent human life, and believing that america is the bright light in the world in these dark times.

  • I waited 16 years for this man to be elected President! A truly great American. His words are as true now as when he first spoke them. Great video.... 5 stars

  • I am always surprised to see him talk about issues they faced then and how they always seem to relate back to the issues we face now. He was a visioary

  • Continued excellence Wyatt, thanks for your thoughtful and important vids, regards friend.

  • Thank you so much my dear friend.

  • What a great president he was.

  • He is the standard by which all others are measured

  • Very good video! President Reagan loved America and Americans liked him and still do.

  • Absolutely my friend, he was committed to this nation and he fought for it with all he was and all he ever would be

  • Thank you Wyatt, 5***** my friend.

  • You are certianly welcome my dear friend

  • Thank you Wyatt - great, thought provoking video. This is what we need in our future - unfortunately I don't see it on our horizon.

    I don't know where we're headed - but - sadly, I don't think its in this direction.

    Thanks again 5*****

  • Thanks for that comment. You know, it seems dark now but give it time, when we need the leader to rise the most time will prove we will not be abandoned. God willing it will be sooner rather than later

  • I certainly hope you're right !

    Trying to keep the thoughts

    positive !!

  • If you are a conservative Wyatt, why do you support McCain?

He wanted to caucus with the dems in 06, look at his bills. He is farther from Conservative than Bush, Dole and Reagan, he is a lib!! yet you accept him, this is where my respect for you wavers, you accept him based on party, not belief, if it was belief you would abate him, yet you do not,

    explain please my friend.

Party or belief, where are your stances?

  • Lewismadmax said,"why do you support McCain?"

Don't you think we know that? Of course, we know that McCain is a weak conservative...but of the candidates left, WHO IS THE MOST CONSERVATIVE?

Billary? Heck no! No more Clinton dynasty!

Obama? You KIDDING? Voted MOST LIBERAL of all Congress! Besides, vote for a racist, muslim, plagiarist & liar? Weak on political experience & weaker on military EXPERIENCE! Absolutely NOT! So, who's left?

McCain. Voted in by DEMS! Yup! We play the hand we're dealt.

  • Well put Jef

  • I understand the lesser of two evil arguements. However, does that mean that we are to unabashadly throw our support to a liberal in conservative dressing without at least making him answer to his socialist agenda? Doesnt a trillion dollar carbon cap and tax program deserve at least a little objection and confrontation? Or are we just going to accept this marxism hook line and sinker because its a supposed republican? At least demand that he select a true conservative VP. Something!

  • karen32862 said,"accept this marxism hook line and sinker because its a supposed republican? At least demand that he select a true conservative VP. Something!"

Don't like McCain's liberal side & he should answer those comments you posted, to our conservative base. Further, you are correct & agree 100% that a very conservative V.P. could help tremendously, at least w/Republicans. Remember, Dems voted 4 McCain in their Operation Chaos, in our Republican primaries first! Rush responded too!

  • There is little to no doubt that Governor Reagan, a man of a deep conservative ideology disagreed with President Ford. Ford was a liberal Republican with a number of points he and Reagan disagreed with. Yet losing the 1976 nomination to Ford he stood on that convention floor and endorsed him and then crossed the country campaigning for him with vigor. Why? Because though he and Ford disagreed Ford represented a better, stronger choice than Carter and, even if they disagreed he understood that he

  • should have a seat at the table to direct, guide and help shape the course of the party rather than just allowing Carter to trounce into the White House.

You may say that we should let Senator Obama win so that there is a possibility of a new Reagan in four years, I say that Reagan would have never actively sought to allow for a man as liberal or as dangerous as Senator Obama win in this manner.

  • thank you, wyatt, for sharing!!

    have missed you, good friend,

    david

  • And I you my dear friend. You are a good man

  • In June of 2005 former US President Ronald Reagan was voted the "greatest American" of all time by his fellow citizens.

He edged out Abraham Lincoln, who abolished slavery, and civil rights leader Martin Luther King.

    5 Stars Wyatt

  • He was truly a great man of immense vision whose leadership is sorely missed.

  • Anyone see the new youtube McCain ads on McCains youtube page? They are in SPANISH! WTF??? This is our conservative candidate? Unbelievable.

  • When I was first becoming spiritually observant my congregation still had services in German. I have no problem with foreign languages spoken within a community respecting and beholding to the new life in a new land. I have a problem when it is hoisted upon all people at all times to change a nation into something it is not

  • I am all for learning other languages and using them. But is it too much to ask that in an American Presidential election, that those who are voting should at least understand the English language if they are going to vote? This is my problem with it. I would like to see McCain start pandering to his conservative base as much as he panders to every other group.

  • Count me in I'll be a rubber stamp for these values. Have you seen what the other guys are working on, its spooky comrade. Sorry friend were not there yet.

  • No, I hear you, I watch them and I grow fearful that we have grown so complacent in society as to allow the worst direction for the nation role through without even a second thought

  • Yet I am young and optimistic.

  • 5/5*****!

  • Thank you my friend

  • Is there anyway you can spam the RNC's mailbox with these vids? I think they need reminders. :)

  • ;) I wish there was :)
