lol ok so the runs are good, but the line has a terrible time keeping issue and they have beat right there!!!! wow i mean i thought my old high school couldnt keep tempo, and im not hating because i can, its just really obvious, just listen up until they get to the sixteenth notes at the end, they are consistently behind the beat by about a thirty second note and its freaking annoying to listen when the line ur in locks nine out of ten times on this kindof stuff, and im just in college lol
I march Bass 5 for my highschool and have for five years and we dont fuck around at all. If our first note is off by a smidge then we cut it, even if it takes ten in a row we cut it, I also march DCA and we dont shit around either, DCI is my next move and i cant wait to be one of these guys!

It reminds me of Cadets Rollercoaster or some of SCV's sick Bass line stuff.... but props on your own Crown! This shows a lot of dedication and hard work and no words can take away from that.

Its not crazy, all their playing is 32nd notes in an 8th note pattern. The hard part about playing this would be having all 5 guys play with the exact same technique, timing, velocity and appearance.
SAHSbass1, are u f8cking serious? that is not easy..it looks easy, but its clean as fuck and takes the utmost attention. this ant high school where u mess up u say o well. i bet u have never seen a lot in your life. people like u piss dedicated drum corps performers off to no end. and i play horn and i know this..

Crown has a great Bassline and I know Eric Craft myself (their Bass Drum tech) This is just a simple warmup that almost every corps bass line does... all are playing with the exact same technique, Volocity, timing and apperence. THATS THE HARD PART, to be exactly the same as the other 4 dudes. This is the difference from lets say spirit's line and Crowns. They are def. a GREAT bass line! And btw I march bass for DCI and WGI buddy ;)
@drummer33201 Nah, crowns legato exercise has so many weird time signatures in it, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 5/8, 7/8, and 9/8.. i think thats all... but there is some serious counting going on there. its not straight forward 8's haha.
