as you have it on black and white, contrast can always be a problem with lighting and what not..

how did you like get it without the light being reflected?

Thanks so much. I'm not sure that I really understand your question but I'll do my best. We shot this completely with available light and so there weren't any huge, bright lights shining on anything. Thus the lack of reflections. The contrast came from a curves adjustment during editing.
