Partition manager wizard is really a good thing, MiniTool partition manager wizard is a good choice for you. It is easy to use and it is efficient. Some editions are FREEEEE. Any of you who need it can have a try.

will this uninstall an os that is on an external drive because i messed something up on ubuntu and i have to uninstall it and wipe the external drive so im on windows xp in disk management im not sure if should repartition it.
Can you answer please?

@sprite605 If you are partitioning a hard disk using the running windows that isn't on it, you may lose it yes... but if you are asking about the windows on the same hard disk the Disk management tool will inform you that this partition contain the operating system so you cannot format..
