well another confirmations is if you go to the tagruato.jp link, one of the subsidiaries ot Tagruato is....SLUSHO!.... one of JJ's trademarks used in promoting many of his films and TV shows... so, unless this is an elaborate fake video, i gotta go with 'real viral teaser'

Ok here are some reasons on how this can be real. First of all, someone can never nor ever by a video camera that producers or directors use for movies unless your in the movie making group. Second of all, this is to good to be fan made. Third, the Bad Robot sign at the end is real as well as the Paramount sign. Fourth, this teaser must've been kept hidden from everyone until official notice of movie release so they would release this teaser. So this is real. And it has begun.

In the movie, Jason was wearing a "Slusho!" T-Shirt. Slusho is a drink company with seabed nectar as the secret ingredient. Slusho is owned by Tagruato. In the movie, at the army outpost (when Marlena dies) the parasite they wheel through the area has a yellow liquid in its mouth. THAT IS SEABED NECTAR. A Tagruato satallite fell to the ocean (visible at the very end of the film), waking Clover and the parasites and bringing them to the surface.

I;m pretty sure this was part of the viral ad campaign for the first film, not a trailer for the second (although apparently they are making a second one, I'm not denying that).

And also, the tentacle thing at 0:41 could be one of the esophagus-tubes that the Cloverfield monster has coming out of its chest area. It never used them in the movie but it did in the manga...

Tagruato makes an appearence in nearly every abrams feature. Whether or not you see it vividly its always used as a backround story for companies like slusho and aladygma. Your argument fails. Cloverfield 2 teaser may come out with the avatar the last air-bender movie.

For a game (which their making) I think it would be like you were a citizen in new york running away, using the enviroment to fight off the monster and various smaller ones that drop off it. While you play, it is recorded in like a home video style that you can share with others. SO like points for better footage of the monster etc.

Well done fan made trailer. I give it five stars. A "sequel" to Cloverfield, that is not a literal sequel, that explores Tagruato more would be a treat to the fans. And Clover wouldn't have to be totally left out, seeing as he was under the Chuai station until they woke him up. Even Alyse Hanssen and that agent could play a part in the film.
