I dont think you have to totally fail at this game to die at the end, do you only die if the two on your personal team die, so at the end there is nobody to help you back on the ship..Cause Joker gets shot when trying to help.

I think all your party members (even ones from ME1) might betray you if you arnt careful ... i.e. side too much with miranda lawson and Garus might decide you need to be stopped, keep him from fighting and Grunt may turn on you

Apparently Thane is a deeply religious character so theres probably thing few things that could tick him off ... personally i think he and Samara are going to be more Paragon inclined ... but we will have to see

I think he will be the 50% Paragon 50% Renegade, and Samara MUST be the same. SuZe is obviusly a Renegade, we already know Garrus, and Grunt, nearly as good as Wrex, but if would have to kill 1 of them i would chose Grunt, he's just too aggressive, Wrex is the real bodyguard. Tali 4 President!

If I was you, I wouldn't kill of SuZe, apparently the end of the game is all reliant on you having all the squad members, all the research and so forth so that you succedd, killing any of your squad members off can result in Sheppards death

Yeh true, but do you really want to kill off Sheppard and not be able to play your Sheppard anymore? As from what I understand/read if you kill Sheppard off in your ending, you can't play him anymore, not even reload previous saves of that Sheppard on ME2

That... is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. If they did implement a system that locks out all of your save files for a character depending on the ENDING you get, fuck this game and fuck this company, I sure as hell won't be buying it.

Of course, I doubt they'd do something so stupid, so it shouldn't be a problem. I think your confusing the idea that in a potential Mass Effect 3 the ending you get in this one can influence the start of that one.

@SoManySkinks It can influence it in the fact that if you die you are dead so you wont be starting at all. It is an intresting idea leaving it up to the players instinct to decide who goes were and if they think they can handle it no second chances. But not letting you restart may be a bit extreme. Its nice to be rewarded for gaining loyalty and thinking tacticaly. Im properbly screwed in mass effect 3 scince i cheated on liara and she has become a bit too psychotic and powerfull.

Nooo Its not reliant on having EVERYTHING its reliant on having the right things or the right things powered up OR having the loyalty of your squad WHOever they may be cause in the final mission I bet a Loyal squad is MUCH better than some backstabbers

Then why have bioware said that if you dont have everything that the ending will be more likely to end in sheppards death? They say if you dont upgrade the weapons he will die, yes the squad is important aswell, possibly the most important, but you do need everything! Hence why you need mordin, he does all your research and you must research it all
