I remember this from a few years ago. IIRC, the woman in red is dishing dirt on a kid that was killed in an accident. Several people had asked her to stop, but she kept on going. The old woman who says, "She is utter trash," is referring to the woman in red. Finally, the mom in the background had had enough, steps through, and shuts her up big-time. Unfortunately, she later got arrested for assault and battery, but in my book she was a hero.

What worked for me was to not repeat gossip, not take sides and try to be friendly with everyone. It wasn't always successful but it brought me a little peace at work :)

The teacher said, "Terry had THC in her system" Obviously someone was a druggy. It was the kid or the mother, probably the kid. So the teacher is saying, "You were doing drugs!" and momma got pissed and BOOM!
