I remember the Rosies, my Mother was a Farm Wife and Father Farmer, Father was a WW1 vet so he didn't go. My brother was with thw 13th Army Air Corps.
my aunts worked in factories and the land army during the war in england . my grandmother and her sister ran the family gas station in the usa too. god bless them all . thanks
Great video and love the music! Everything changed, besides the fact that women still have to stepp aside for men these days, even if they are equal..
Love this video on rosie the riveter. See my Mum's video on rosie too, the lancaster bomber!
Please advise who sang this song, "you turned the tables on me" fabulous 40s song" Wonderful video of those gals both in Great Britain and U.S.A. for the war work they did getting those planes airborne!
That is some seriously good photography, and a seriously good job of editing it into a video. Judging from the color pallette, these shots appear to be Kodakchromes.
These were all from the library of Congress. From the outfits and makeup, it appears everyone knew the photographer was coming that day... glad you liked it.
It's funny... I just don't see any unattractive women in this video..... Wonder why? :)

I'm sure this was kodachrome. Professionally done, probably a federal gov't. project. Thanks for the kind words.
