I read on a discussion board that Columbia possibly released 78s in the US as late July of 1958, but the latest US Columbia 78 i've seen is "Come To Me" by Johnny Mathis, released around December of 1957.
I know it is around the time you mentioned when they stopped issuing 78's to consumers, not sure when they stopped making DJ, promo type 78's??...Friends, Lloyd.

Is this the last, or one of the last Columbia 78s? I love this song, a bit of a doo wop song.

It is a 1957 78, which is nearing the end of Columbia 78 catalog in the U.S., but not sure how far from the last one it is??...Friends, Lloyd.
