My first furry con was this year at Furry connection north. I did not want to leave. My only regret is not having the know how to construct a suit of my own and pursue a sexy female.
There are many makers of suits, many are handmade using various methods of construction. Go to google and search for "fursuit faq" and you'll get most of the massed information that many have collected over time.

If you can get parental consent, you can attend most cons as a minor. Otherwise, you likely will not be able to attend until you are at least 18.
