I can picture a board meeting for Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: a group of enthusiastic young people who would draw up as many zany and goofy characters, designs of buildings, backgrounds, scripts, jokes and so on, just having a good time.

Some people who worked on the show have said that the work was "fun and humorous", and that's well deserved, because that's how I feel each and every time I see the show. I love it, and hats off to those wonderful people!

You guys need to keep in mind that The show hasn't been in production for years, he proably doesn't draw the characters every day, so Sonic isn't going to look exactly like he does on the cartoon.

It's so funny how he repeatedly goes "uumm..." all the time! XD He also fails at drawing Sonic. Heck, the actually artwork in the cartoon was pretty poor. I never lioked the way American artist drew him back in the day. His old school Japanese style is much better. :)

just think about this, he could had probably been given a very low budget for the show. DIC tends to do that, You should look at the other show he work on called "Felix Twisted Tales" The animation is great and is sadly not a famous Nostalia cartoon

Wow. This was sweet. I really enjoyed the AoSTH series, so this just ups the awesomeness of this. At the end, I watched the way he draws Sonic. It's difforent, IMAO, in A good way. It's so slapstick, which even though I can draw Sonic in like 2 minutes as well, Can not pull of without screwing up the picture. :P

Yes she is a canon character, but only to the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog continuity(She appeared as plot point in the last episode), The UK Sonic the Comic continuity(She was much much different from her well know counterpart), and the SatAM/Archie comics continuity. She is not canon however to the Games/Sonic X continuity, the Sonic the Hedgehog OVA Movie continuity, and the Sonic Underground continuity.

The animation style of this cartoon was refreshing... but the fact it made hardly any attempt at all to stay true to the source material games was what let it down the most. It became like a warner brothers cartoon in disguise half the time and made this one of the weaker sonic cartoons out there.

Compare it with the Mario cartoons and you can see what I mean even more. Best part of the whole show was their unforgettable version of Robotnik

Yeah, I just did some googling, turns out the other ones I mentioned were Golden Books, not Troll books. Makes sense, considering they were so damn small. Apparently someone scanned both of the Sonic Golden Books, which can be found on the second link after googling "Sonic's Shoe Blues". I have a kid's book I ordered from school sometime around kindergarten or 3rd grade and I found it recently and for the first time ever realized what was odd about it: It features the characters and art style of SatAM in the illustrations and story, including Snively, but Robotnik is drawn (and behaves) more like the AoStH version. It's really bizarre.

Its amazing how Sonic's style was changed around back then. Even the Archie comic with the Freedom Fighters started out looking more like AoStH, but the SatAM cartoon changed that...and yet they kept BOTH series around, the best of both worlds.
