LOL, I actually installed the very same Power Custom extended bolt handle today myself. It was a bit of a pain in the butt to install, but once I got it in, it was all set. I haven't even shot my 10/22 yet, but I can't wait to shoot it once I get that pesky extended mag release working right! =D

Nutn - If someone was buying a new 10/22 from ruger could they use the "other" tactical that they're currently selling that uses the standard barrell already 16" long with that tapco stock setup? How does the DuraCoat hold up on the barrel? Can it takea fair amount of heat? I recently purchased a used AR barrel in great shape however, the exterior parkerizing has some scuffs that won't polish out.

Have you thought about duracoating the vertical grip? IMO the color of the vg clashes with the rest of the gun. However, the grey barrel and tan stock look really good.

@TechnoRAWR little late, but the stock comes with one sling nut. it can be either positioned for a single point, or up on the front to be used with the rear loop for a 2 point. i didn't know this, and i bought a sling nut. now i just have one in each of the spots for them.

haha famasdan, if you duracoat your crayon, yes it will be tactical. In nutnfancy's defense, on the lauer weaponry website (the manufacturer of duracoat), the colour "coyote brown" is listed in the "tactical" category. Although yes he does say tactical on average about 27.5 times per vid.

Not a silly question, manx. He's got some videos out there demonstrating the process. Just run a search on "nutnfancy duracoat" and they should come right up. There's one with him and TacticalDoodle and InadvertantSmell that I really like. They spend more time busting on each other than working, though.
