as much as I agree that unemployment makes it seem like ANY job is better than NO job, as jobs disappear, the remaining ones get worse, pay less, demand too much, and make people crazier. I worked retail in recent years, and I can see how someone would get desperate to get out. They schedule people for 2 hour shifts, won't let them switch, send them home early, and won't work around your schedule at your 2 other jobs (which are necessary to survive on that low of a pay rate).
