I wonder if Phoenix ever appears, even if its just briefly. Does anyone know when this story takes place? Like; is it after Trials and Tribulations and before Apollo Justice?

@okinawacakes it's before apollo justice, but I think it's after trials and tribulations, though.. as far as I've played there was just one situation that miles insinuated phoenix... but indirectly. though it's fun because there are other things from the other games of the series that are mentioned in a quite ingenous way. I'm in level 4, just starting it and the game isn't that difficult.. but the female prosecutor in this case is particularly FUNNY.. she cant stop laughing lol

If you look at the months this game takes placeyou'll see that Its after T&T but before Phoenix got debarred. And Phoenix DOES make a breif appearance in the 3rd case of this game but you dont talk to him and its possible to miss him completly.

(Look closely, You'll see him on a boat with Maya and Pearl!)

I played the flash demo, And I like the logic idea, but the deduction system needs just a little work. I don't know how I figured out the bullet was too low.

When it's released you can try looking for it on a NDS ROM site. You'll need either a emulator to play it on your computer, or if you have a NDS you can buy a flash cart, MicroSD card, and MicroSD reader and that way you can play the rom on your NDS like you actually have the game. I won't post any urls though because downloading roms of games that you do not own is illegal.

Actually there is, its just that you spend more of your time in confrontation with the defense attorney than the witness. But the courtroom being gone isn't all that bad, because in GK, you'll have all of the courtroom drama out in the field too.

I agree, but this is still an amazing game. Without ruining too much, cross-examinations still do occur, in the same style as court. Also, there are many, many new styles of gameplay brought in to accommodate for the removal of court phases. I should know, I finished the Japanese version! Anyways, it's an amazing game. All the greatness of PW and more.

I have and love all of the Phoenix Wright games. I can play for hours at a time. I am going to get Apollo Justice soon. I can't wait for this game to come out. If it is anything like Phoenix Wright, I will love this game as well!
