  • I think the description of this video is oversimplified. Abnormal angiogenesis can occur in diabetes patients and result in diabetic retinopathy. Angiogenesis plays a role NOT ONLY IN CANCER, I think there should be a video more complete!! too bad I don't know how to do animations.

  • Turns out that there are many other ways to promote tumor angiogenesis beyond VEGF. Ask the team that built Avastin. They are getting some really interesting clinical results related to compensatory pathway activation....

  • the signal that cancer sends out (aka, factor) is VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor)

  • This is tumor angiogenesis, you should be more specific in your description.

  • I agree. Not to be mean, but being specific especially in demonstrating something of medical use is kinda important.
