In reality the Coast Guard is committing piracy on the high seas. To force a vessel to stop in international waters is actually illegal under international law. If it is legal for the US to stop vessels in international water or waters then what the Somalians are doing should be legal also. Same thing. It is time for people to start shooting back at the real criminals.
@dickmartn no actually, the us navy and coast gaurd prietty well has free range to commit bordings anywere on the planet other then in another nations territorial waters, or of another nations licenced and vetted ship.. but these submarines officially belong to no country, and thus the laws dont apply and they can be borded at will by prietty much any UN warship
if they use to get a million dollars a trip in an airplane in the 80's to fly a load. wonder how much they get for a trip in a sub? where do they find thest peopleto piolet it.
why even bother making arrests? it only gives them another chance. i say torpedoe the suckers, then shoot them once they surface. tell all the crybabies at home they knew the risks
In this case, it's a "narco-sub", or home-made submarines used for and by drug-traffickers. Pretty insane these people have enough loot to construct submarines.
kinda useless when there's a huge white foamy wake behind it

350 miles west of the Galapagos Islands ???…
That's international waters : how did the US authorities have any right to make an arrest ? Moreover Galapagos are Peruvian (or Ecuador ?).
Smugglers should be arrest … but there ?… Why didn't they track the guys and made the arrest is US waters ?…

nah a torpedo aint worth it, id say use some armor-exploding incendiary 20mm or higher a few holes in a sub is all that u need.
phonix032 2 years ago 27
@dompflu why kill the supplier? why would the consumer kill the supplier? it goes against the laws of economics.
