Oh my god, at least when the Red Wings hit, they don't throw a high elbow up at the head. Everytime a Duck hits a Red Wing ends up losing a helmet. Red Wings never threw any punches after the whistle. Now i don't remember the Ducks playing like this back in 2003, but this year was exceptional. Neidermayer is a capitain and should act like a capitain. You don't see Lindstrom taking runs at Getzlaf after the play is done.

Jonas Hiller, as you can see, is the real reason why the Ducks made it as far as they did. Like the early 90s Wings, they were too quick to get emotional and they let it take control of them. Even some players I thought wouldn't get involved did and it was pretty embarrassing. I'd expect this kind of shit from Getzlaf and Pronger... but Neidermayer? This is outrageous. Glad they're out of the playoffs, the Wings can have a breather with the Blackhawks.

I LIKE Anaheim, I really enjoyed watching them thump San Jose...I even like Chris Pronger lol. But a tough, rough physical game ISNT going after high end skill players that I am sure the Ducks are well aware arent fighters. (see Brown on Hudler, Needledick on Datsyuk, Perry on Rfalski).. I t just makes Anaheim look petty and cheap and like the goons alot of teams claim them to be instead of great their first line can be...or how lethal the Pronger/Neidermayer defense pairing is. Its a shame tbh
