I would agree with the camera, but I never use my phone camera anyways, so... Yeah, still considering this phone. It looks good, I like a phone with some weight to it, and I LOVE the physical keyboard. Plus, my Huawei Android phone sucks badly, this would be such a step up.

@charger1970and68 I think I have a solution for the apps. Go to 4shared.com and download an app you wan but put ".apk" at the end. Make sure you have your phone set to allow 3rd party apps. You can find that in your settings.

I have my phone for a little over a month and just recently whenever i unlock my phone the screen lights up but is still black for about 15 seconds before it shows the homescreens. Also for my youtube, it worked great before but after I updated it, the damn thing doesn't work! when I try to watch anything on youtube it just takes forever to buffer and then tells me that the video cannot be played, even though my wifi is on and running. what the hell am I suppose to do now?

this is a great phone, but stupid Metro Piece of shit doesnt due no justice. you get the best out of this phone if your in a 4g spot. aside from that, metro has few sites with good 4g. i also have a feeling that their throttling. i regret not going to sprint, they have better phones and plans.......

Everyone complains about the battery on this phone. It is not bad at all. You just need to moderate with the battery life by dialing **5853385## nd choosing between cdma for 1x nd global for the 4g. Works great for me, thumbs up please.

@AjaCopeland1 just go to your "phone" app and go to the dialer. dial that number, including the ** and ##. then a menu will automatically pop up and give you 3 choices. LTE only mode. CDMA only mode and GLOBAL mode. if you want to use the 1x network use cdma only and if u want 4G click global mode. then restart your phone. do the same thing to go back to whatever you were previously using. PEACE lmao :p

I actually watched the whole video, 1 thing I have to say you "sound" like you know what you are talking about. There is no 3G with Metro, They never built a 3G network. They went from 2G to 4G thus the 1x that you see out of a 4G area. It is very slow and you often can't even do a search on the phone much less stream ANYTHING. So overall good review but just know that there is no 3G with Metro

Depends on what you're willing to pay, you don't have to compare METROPCS with VERIZON of course VERIZON is faster but you will be paying more with VERIZON... YOU'LL GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.... I love metropcs no annual contrant everything is unlimited and I never have had a phone call droped. If I changed metropcs it would only be to get an iphone other than that i'll stay with metropcs

If download a killer apps or any type of power saver from the android market, it will afect you 4G connection. So if you download any app to save the battery life keep in mind it migjt interrupt your 4G connectivity..

I honestly don't recommend not buying this phone because of the camera. She emphasized it so much that it's actually funny lol. Okay, yes, it is 3 megapixels but its fine. 5 megapixels would only matter if you were to print them or if you wanna see it pretty when you zoom in for like 3 seconds. Other than that, it'll take good pictures and it shouldn't matter.

You can estimate the battery life with the mAh (milli-amp hours) of the battery and the hours you get on it now.. I said the battery life lasts 3x longer but its more like 2.5x more since the previous mAh is 1500mAh in comparison to the 3600 mAh you get with the aftermarket product. Aside from the problems I've had. I can say that when you get the extended battery you will and begin using it, you will go to sleep smiling.

Acctually metropcs has the same 3G sprint has you have to download this app to connect to it its called LTEon/off htc thunderbolt go to the bottom of the page and change it from cdma to evdo and you will be connected to the 3G network but they only have 3G in certain areas so if you have no service than there is no 3G in your area

When I had Verizon my payments were about 120 (if i didnt pass my plan) with metro I pay $45. I save $75 a month multiply that by 12, thats $900 I saved in a year & Im not tied down to a contract. My calls rarely drop but its not like I cant redial. You can use $900 to buy a plane ticket or get yourself an Ipad. Verizon snobs can keep wasting their money & continue on being slaves to a phone company. I choose 900 dollars of not being stuck in an office or taking bs from customers. Thanks Metro!
