  • Posties Jig is one of all-time favourites. Is anybody dancing Scottish in Montreal?

  • I love to dance the postie's jig :-)

    greets from Faroe Islands

  • I LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVE dancing Postie's!

  • Happy to find this link from aniavo's Channel. Will tell members of our group in Cairo, Egypt, who at present are learning this as one of the dances that Nelle Evenhouse is teaching us.

  • glad to hear its useful for you. I do short one time through videos of the current dances we are learning to help our members see the dances. Let me know if there is another dance you would like to see; we may know it and be able to video it.

  • I always enjoyed Posties Jig.

When it went right it was great.

When it went wrong it was spectacular -

but not as spectacular as when Trip to Bavaria went wrong.

  • Or how about Polharrow Burns - that one goes every which way and can also end in a train wreck

    Cheers,

    Jim

  • Thank you for posting this! Very helpful to me in learning how the dance is done! Was great to see dance costumes, too!

  • Thanks - we have a good time at it. I have a couple of other dances that I've recorded. I'm in the process of making a demo DVD for the group. After that I'll try to post them to you tube.

    Cheers,

    Jim
