  • Beautiful tone and phrasing Ryo san! You're a tasteful cat. Thanks.

  • I used to love this show when it was on the air. They used to have an whole aray of amazing blues, jazz , r&b and rock artist. Why did the Jazz channel have to go off the air? Its such a travesty.

  • I used to love this show back in the day. I never saw this episode. They used have an whole aray of awesome artist on here. Why did they ever have to cancel the Jazz Channel? Its such a travesty.

  • You'll never see this guy on the cover of Guitar World. You'll only see metal speed freaks.

  • that dude plays a mean bass

  • @bareftjacky, Is this recording from before Richard Bona came to prominence?

  • Ryo's so gonna sneeze!

  • Nice; I love the restraint in Kenny Burrell's playing and that's what attracted me to this-it would be so easy to overplay and ruin the tune.

  • Yeah, sometimes less is more with music. Shred fests have no feeling or soul to them. I'd take BB King over any metal freak.

  • Nice touch Ryo, very smooth blues, "nahe nahe" as they say in Hawaiian. I would love to hear you play some straight ahead "back alley blues", Texas style, BB King, Albert King, Albert Collins, Otis Rush, etc. Not a criticism just a request. You have worked very hard to get where you are and I appreciate that. Showtime Johnny Pal
