This is without a doubt my favorite decade. I am totally in love with the fashion, music and almost care-free nature of the people at this time. Sure economically times were tough, but could you really tell just by looking at them? Not really. Of course that does not mean times were tough cause they were. Regardless of the hardships in this point in time, the people depicted here had so much beauty and it was clearly visible. That kind of glamour is hard to find nowadays.

The thing to note when watching old movies like this (in addition to enjoying the music that is) is that almost without exception, everyone you see is now dead. Go on, pick out a face two, wonder how and when the person met his/her end.
