did you hand load them? how many FPS, are they. i'm shooting 60gr. sierra h. p. from my .243 . at 3900FPs. great shooting by the way.

@starr8719 Hey thanks, Ya we handload all of our ammo. I think we got it down to 3450 fps, we had them going a lot faster but our groups were wide open. We slowed it down and we're shooting a lot better.

Are you ever afraid a coyote will come from behind you? Has it ever happend?

@CHOSENMARINE It happens from time to time - we set up with the wind in our face so normally a yote won't come in down wind. The only fear is that if they do come in from behind that we won't get a shot at them before they figure it out and are clearing outta Dodge!

Excellent - love the performance of the .243!! We use the KiYi or the coyote death cry for the foxbang on our new Firestorm. Brings back other coyotes and holds them for a couple of extra seconds for the "double". As far as the hornady bullets are concerned, we have used them in the past but as you can see with our results on our youtube channel (chcdirect) that we are getting excellent results with the Barnes 62 gr Varmit grenades.

I got a coyote yesterday. I also shoot a .243. What scope do you use ? And also I just picked up a fox pro firestorm. What sound shud I use for the fox bang? Btw 58 grain hornady superformance varmiter rounds are awesome give em a try

Hey I'm from saskatchewan. And I go hunting dogs alot. Should I be using a bait call, comunitive, distress, mating?

@Maniia420 Great Question. I would use a bait call on a really cold morning, followed by a yote death cry after you get one. For hung up coyotes you can try a pup in distress, if one is a female you could pull her in with maternal instinct and if it is some young males, they'll want to come in out of curiosity. This time of year (Feb/March) female invitation calls work well as do challenge howls for territorial mature males.
