  • @dirtsleeper714 yup it was a play before it was a movie and a book before it was a play. It is literally the best thing in theatre that i have ever seen in my life.

  • Ah yes, the famous HOLLYWOOD plot formula; BOY MEETS HORSE, BOY/TEEN LOSES HORSE, TEEN/MAN GETS HORSE BACK. And that's why $tephen $pielburg makes it into a movie, opening on XMA$ day. Years ago, i saw a movie with the same formula; TOWN MEETS DR./ TOWN LOSES DR./ TOWN GETS DR. BACK! I sure wish they would try a TOTALLY DIFFERENT FORMULA

  • @AnitaCock , not really i read the orignal book and its amazing there is no doubt about it. But i can see your point, its a trusted formula which people like. I personally would love to see this in film and theatre maybe next year.

  • I started and finished the book yesterday.

    I loved the story and when I saw it on the Tony's, I really wanted to know more about it!

    I normally perform in and watch musicals, but I really want to see this!

  • Would love to see it, but with Rush tickets currently suspended, and LincTix only available for ages 21 and up (I am 20...) this will have to wait a little longer...

  • I saw this show about a month ago. If you are looking for a good, original story, this is not the play for you. However, if you are interested in the technical aspects of a play (especially lighting: this show had the BEST lighting design I think I will ever see), go see it.
