In the Comics Peter dated Betty Brant, liked Liz and was in love with Gwen Stacy before he even met MJ. And really Gwen was the greatest love in his life. The movie botched it saying MJ was someone he always had a crush on since he was little when in the comics he met her later on.

There actually was a short lived Spiderman tv show I think the production cost to much so it didn't last long but it was fun to watch. Was better than Batman or Wonder Woman live action tv shows.

Isnt it funny how Spidermans first love Mary Jane was played by a Kristen and Clark Kents first love Lana Lang in Smallville was played by a Kristen too. I just thought it was cool.
