Everyone has been saying this movie is CRAP but it's not. lol. Plain and simple. I'm the ONLY one in my family who liked it and has actually watched it more than half of one time or one full time. I've watched ti about three until I had to return the rental. Just because you can't "understand" it (which it actually isn't that hard to understand) doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a shot. That is all I have to say about that. lol

erm... i didnt really get the film. it was alright, not really my thing though, ut the ending was shit. i thought that toby was gonna commit suicide but then he just went and bloody forced himself on his aunty and killed her WTF?!?! haha robert pattinson was really funny in this film, love Rob!!! Me nd my friend watched it, u could tell that the actors were trying to be intense but we were in hysterics <3 <3 <3 i still love Rob though, he's amazing :P

disturbing movie about the downfall of a young aviator. a little and very serious movie, slow pace, no mainstream but with a great perfomance of pattinson. If you´re looking for movie with pattinson cause you have a twilight obession, this is not for you. wanna see a rather dark psychological story, about a person fighting his fears and fragile sanity, this is yours. be warned o lot of spiders and sad end. great movie , though

@cassie849 I agree. I´m not much of a twilight fan, many people like it so I don´t wanna pick on fans either. It´s good starter for his career I guess, but I never was into teen heart-throbs. Edward is not what I would call a challenging character for audience or actor. Mr. Pattinson can do better, and I think movies like this one, remember me or water for elephants (yay for Christoph Waltz) will help him develop his acting & reputation as an actor. Let´s see what his next projects gonna be.

Well, it's BBC, so not a huge budget, but I thought it was appropriately creepy... more done through cinematography and acting than fancy effects. I really like Dennis Wheatley's novels, on one of which this is based: classic "Turn of the Screw" esque horror.
