It's a bit unfair to suggest that the Western World is not receptive to Bollywood type cultur, because that's just not true. Here in Britain Bombay Dreams was one of the most successful musicals of recent years and Indian culture is incredibly widespread and enjoyed. Slumdog Millionnaire is just an example of the ONGOING interest in Indian culture in this country.
