The idea of SSJ3 isn't silly at all. He has the means to do it, he bypassed 3 for the superior 4. The same can be said for Gontenks not attaining SSJ2. If you can do the harder one, why wouldn't you be able to do the easier one?

@MrHoopla When Gotenks went SSJ3, he went SSJ2 first (in the order Goku said) and then went SSJ3. So technically they did go SSJ2, only in their fused form and didn't fight in that form.

@kyuubinaruto199 You're wrong, dude. It's stated no where in DBZ history that Gotenks went SSj2. Only saiyans to ever reach that form successfully are Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan. Vegito and Gogeta could've easily gone SSj2 as well, but never did. Probably because they never needed to, I'm assuming. Gotenks went from SSj1 to SSj3 instantly. Fact.

@MrHoopla Nope. He went SSJ2, THEN SSJ3. He didn't fight in SSJ2, he just went SSJ3 after that just real fast. Why else would Goku tel them to go SSJ2 before SSJ3? Gotenks went SSJ, then SSJ2, THEN SSJ3. End of story.

@Piddlesticks SSJ4 and SSJ3 are uncompareable because SSJ4 you need a tail for it so the machine in reality turned him ssj4 because vegeta did not have one but Thats dbgt which i do not consider part of the main storyline because toriyama is releasing a new serious with a more powerfull ssj4 and a ssj5 which continues where gou trains uub but vegeta soes nit have the ability to go ssj3 at this point in time but will in future series but in the end vegeta never had the ability to go ssj3
